Chat rooms were once common on websites, but have been largely supplanted by social media sites like Facebook and Twitter. To replace the chat room that used to be at CED Magic there is now a CED Magic Group at Facebook.
To some degree the successor to CED Digest now called CED Forum also serves a chat function, as messages can be posted and replied to immediately.
